...is an internationally award winning, for‐profit, social enterprise. We established in 2007 in order to design, manufacture and supply products exclusively for the humanitarian market.

...is a household‐level water transport, purification and storage solution to be purchased by humanitarian organisations and deployed for use by individuals throughout the developing world.

The device (formerly referred to as ‘ROSS’ or the ‘Reverse Osmosis Sanitation System’) uses an internal filter system, powered by the rotation of the wheels, to transform harmful water to drinkable water on-the-go. A user would roll the unit to the nearest source of water, fill the 50 litre tank, and roll it home. Once home, the water drawn from the unit is potable to World Health Organisation standards.

Trees for Cities works with communities to plant trees in parts of cities that need it most. We grow stronger neighbourhoods, enhance urban landscapes and improve health and happiness.

The Nitrous Oxide Focus Group is a consortium-based research initiative established to explore the action of the greenhouse gas, Nitrous Oxide; its role in climate change, the role of bacteria in the greenhouse gas emissions and to develop techniques to mitigate its effect.

The team of computer scientists, biologists, soil scientists , microbiologists, chemists and environmental scientists led by Professor David Richardson of the University of East Anglia, aims, among other things to develop a computational model of the process by which land-based bacteria produce the potent greenhouse gas, nitrous oxide.

The Focus Group will also concentrate on understanding the sources of this potent greenhouse gas, the chemistry and biology behind the production of nitrous oxide and its overall impact upon climate change.

The PETA Foundation works to alleviate animal suffering by providing people – from legislators to consumers to schoolchildren – with information about making compassionate choices concerning animals.

We launched Meat-Free Monday, a cross-curricular global citizenship project for schools, in the Autumn of 2009.

The project encourages school communities to reduce their meat intake in order to improve pupils' health, protect the environment, help animals and fight against world hunger.
